About Fixed

Fixed windows are glazed directly into the frame with no opening sash at all. Without hinges, sliding tracks, or handles, they're usually the simplest and most affordable uPVC window option, and because there's no moving seal to wear down, they tend to hold their weathertight seal well over time.

They're a common choice for large picture windows, stairwells, or any spot where ventilation isn't the point — light and view are. Often paired with an opening window nearby (like a top-hung or casement) to handle airflow.
