What we collect

If you submit an enquiry: your name, phone number, pincode, what you're looking for, roughly how many units, and your timeline.

If you register as a fabricator: your firm name, contact name, phone, email, city, GSTIN, the states and products you serve, and a copy of your GST certificate.

We also automatically log basic technical information (like a hashed version of your IP address) to help prevent spam.

How we verify your phone number

We send a one-time code to the number you give us before your enquiry or firm account is treated as real. We only store a cryptographic hash of that code, never the code itself in plain text, and it expires after 5 minutes.

How we use it

Enquiry details go to fabricators we've verified as covering your product and (where we can determine it) your area, so they can contact you directly. Firm registration details, including your uploaded GST certificate, are reviewed by us before your account is approved.

Where it's stored

On servers we control. Uploaded documents are stored outside any publicly reachable part of our systems and are only ever accessed by an authenticated administrator reviewing your registration.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information to third parties. We don't call you — all contact from our side, or from a matched fabricator, happens by WhatsApp or the number you provided, never a cold call from an unrelated party.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, or to delete it, by emailing rishabh@bitola.in.

This policy describes what we actually collect and do, in plain language. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer against India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or other applicable law.
